Mission
Vision
"Supplying engineers with advanced technology to ensure their mastery over product design simulation through the 21st Century".
Mission - Become Industry Leader in NASTRAN Innovation
tMG's mission is to deliver within the NASTRAN® Finite Element Analysis (FEA) architecture the necessary technology to drive virtual product development (VPD) to levels two orders more accurate and at rates three orders faster than today's solutions. We will accomplish this by developing and implementing a combination of new technologies to improve finite elements, numerical solvers and user interfaces. By completing our mission we will: correct long term and well known limitations in the underlying finite elements that are at the heart of FEA, produce new solution algorithms that are both more efficient and more accurate, and introduce features that automate a variety of necessary FEA process tasks that users are performing manually today.
Strategy - Building on Proven Track Record of Past Achievements
We will focus on those technology areas that are the most important and most needed by the VPD market. We will leave to other CAE vendors those niches that are more specialized and less often used. As a result we will concentrate our development efforts on those VPD applications that require linear static and dynamic technologies, and we will develop partnerships to deliver functions in less utilized areas such as nonlinear analysis and design optimization. To accomplish our mission and achieve our vision a team comprised of the best and brightest NASTRAN talent is a requirement. The MacNeal Group is that team. Our two principal founders, Dr. Richard H, MacNeal and Dr. Harry G.Schaeffer, literally wrote the books on the underlying finite element technology and how to effectively use it.
The Return on Investment with the MacNeal Group
By joining with the MacNeal Group and working with us as our customer you will:
1. Gain access to the next generation VPD tools created by the leaders of the CAE industry.
2. Be able to transfer the bulk of your analyses to NASTRAN-xMG, and thereby reduce costs of acquiring and maintaining NASTRAN resources.
3. Improve your success by obtaining more reliable simulation results.
4. Not be required to retrain your engineers because NASTRAN-xMG is built upon the industry standard NASTRAN developed by NASA.
