The FEMCI Workshop 2005, NASA Goddard Space Flight
Center, May 4- 5, 2005
The FEMCI workshop on Innovative Solutions to Structural Analysis and Test Problems was the sixth annual FEMCI (Finite Element Modeling Continuous Improvement) workshop hosted by FEMCI and the Mechanical Systems Analysis and Simulation Branch (Code 542) of the NASA Goddard Space Flight Center. The workshop brings together engineers from the aerospace and general engineering community and from academia to exchange knowledge and experience in the fields of finite element modeling, structural mechanics and testing, and helps to establish a network among analysts. The emphasis of the workshop is on innovative solutions to challenging structural analysis problems encountered in hardware development and test programs. Representing tMG at FEMCI 2005 were Doug Neill, Director of Business Development and Mike Krauski, Director of Sales. tMG was invited to participate in the poster presentation covering the subject of “Process Integration Tools for NASTRAN-centric Finite Element Simulation Software”. Doug Neill, Director of Business Development and Ted Rose, Director of Technology covered this topic based on their extensive knowledge and experience in this area and their vision for improving process integration. Both are widely recognized experts on this subject and with the release of tMG’s GATEWAY-xMG are confident that this open architecture solution will prove to be a must-have product for customers with the process integration challenges discussed in their session. AIAA/ASME/ASCE/AHS/ASC Structures, Structural Dynamics & Materials
Conference , Austin, TX April 18-21 2005
The 46th Annual Structures, Structural Dynamics, and Materials (SDM) Conference, sponsored by AIAA, ASME, ASCE, AHS, and ASC is a widely acknowledged event that provides a unique forum dedicated to the latest development in the collective disciplines of structures, structural dynamics, materials, design engineering, and survivability. Ted Rose, Director of Technology, Doug Neill, Director of Business Development and Mike Krauski, Director of Sales represented tMG at the 46th Annual AIAA/ASME/ASCE/AHS/ASC Structures, Structural Dynamics & Materials Conference held in Austin, Texas April 18th through 21st, 2005. The conference represented several significant milestones for tMG: Ted Rose and Doug Neill from tMG were invited to speak on the topic of “Process Integration Tools for NASTRAN –centric Finite Element Simulation Software”. Their depth of coverage and knowledge on the subject of process integration and process automation enlightened many on how to achieve the next level of enhanced throughput in their VPD processes. (Email: Click here with “AIAA paper request” in the subject line) tMG’s exclusive partnership with TechnoStar as the North American distributor of VENUS pre/post-processor and the release of GATEWAY-xMG at the conference were also announced. Attendees that were present for the presentation or had the opportunity to meet with tMG were impressed by tMG’s development progress and vision. Attendees were left with a strong impression that tMG is quickly positioning themselves as key contributor to the future of NASTRAN development as it relates to improving VPD and PLM processes. TMG also hosted a cocktail reception for many of their prospective clients and partners. Those who attended the reception had the opportunity to meet one on one with the tMG team to discuss their current activities and the future direction of NASTRAN. |
